This dewatering screw press is used in liquid-solid separation or dewatering applications. Material is carried and compressed by a progressively reducing pitch rotor inside a conical perforated screen and causes the moisture reduction.
Special attention has been given in proper screw design, which is critical for compression ratio and final product moisture. A laser drilled 4 mm thick screen is available for extending the service life and reduces production down time. Material in contact with product can be constructed of 304 SS or 316 SS.
